“Star Trek: Discovery” S2 NYCC Trailer

Following the CBS All Access panel at New York Comic-Con, a new trailer is out for the second season of “Star Trek: Discovery” along with the reveal of its premiere date – January 17th 2019.

In the new season, Anson Mount’s Captain Christopher Pike of the USS Enterprise takes over command of the USS Discovery. His mission is to find out the truth behind the seven ‘red bursts’ that have appeared across the galaxy, mysterious signals beyond Federation understanding and which seems to be part of the second season’s story arc.

They also tie into Spock (Ethan Peck) who has taken leave to pursue his own investigation and the trailer offers a first look at the character. Rebecca Romijn also joins the cast as the original Number One alongside returning cast members such as Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, James Frain and more.

Meet Bullseye In New “Daredevil” Clip

The debut of the full trailer for the third season of “Daredevil” the other day finally showed off Wilson Bethel’s Benjamin Poindexter, a law-enforcement agent who becomes the iconic Marvel baddie Bullseye.

Today, the streamer has dropped a new teaser focused entirely on the new character and how he fits into the story – he’s got emotional problems, a resentment of masked heroes and is ultimately hired by Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) to take down Daredevil and does so dressed up in Matt’s signature red costume.

Erik Oleson (“The Man in the High Castle”) serves as showrunner and executive producer on the new season which launches worldwide on October 19th on Netflix.

Syfy’s “Deadly Class” Gets A New Trailer

Syfy has unleashed a new trailer for “Deadly Class,” a TV series adaptation of the Image Comics title which has been set to debut on January 16th.

The story is set at the height of late 1980s counterculture, the action follows a disillusioned teen recruited into a storied high school for assassins. He must maintain his moral code while surviving a ruthless curriculum, vicious social cliques, and his own adolescent uncertainties.

Benedict Wong is set for the series regular role of Master Lin, the school’s headmaster. Benjamin Wadsworth will play Marcus, the awkward outcast filled with bottled rage who has lived his life on the streets of San Francisco. Lana Condor will play Saya, a former Yakuza clan member banished to the school.

Maria Gabriela de Faria is set for the fiery exhibitionist Maria, Luke Tennie will play LA gang leader Willie, Liam James is set to play skater punk Billy, and Michel Duval will play drug lord son Chico. Creator Rick Remender is also behind the adaptation which Joe and Anthony Russo will executive produce and which Lee Toland Krieger is directing.
